Like most writers out there and that includes the ones who say they don't care about being published, I want to bring my books to the world. I want to suck a reader in and make them want to read on. I remember when I was sixteen and in the middle of a depression, I picked up the Hunger Games. I laughed, cried and shuddered at times, but complicated reads like that spoke to me. Even as a child, I could stand picture books and I was six the first time I read Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. Writing was a break from life and once I got into the dystopian genre I couldn't get enough of it. I wrote the Secret of Survival series in Grade Ten and have been editing it ever since and Cold's Fire began just before I started college this year. The words come to me in a fast manner and are often inspired by dreams.
